Anacortes Small Boat Center Fundraising for Anacortes Sailing Program Director/Instructor and Fleet Maintenance Program
Together with the City of Anacortes Parks and Rec Department - We are looking to raise $35,000 to fund a position for a community Sailing Director. We are also looking to raise $15,000 in expenses for maintenance for our community’s fleet of sailboats. This is a total of $50,000 each for the next two years. For more details see this document.
- We have raised, or have pledges so far for $22,000 to date, including $5,000 from the City’s Parks and Rec budget. Initially, many businesses are pledging $500 each for this program.
- Parks and Rec, together with ASBC, are in the process of filling the position.
